As soon as Savanna and Gavin meet, there is an attraction. Upon finishing, one star for the engaging writing and half a star for the way the h tried to do what was right by the victims. The kids were great, actually, and added some extra depth to the story. No one in the town of Nephi, Utah can imagine that Savanna didn't know what her husband was up to but she didn't. After realizing that she didn't know her husband at all, Savanna decides to finally take control of her life.
As such, I thought that too much time was spent away from the central relationship and thus this book was just okay for me. So she packs up, and moves with her children to Silver Springs to the last home she knows. I liked how the story went into their individual struggles with their issues and their relationship and how each made the choice they made. Gavin Turner understands the struggle of starting over. Brenda Novak knows how to pull you into a story and never lets up until the last page. There is undeniable chemistry between the two but will they be able to overcome the obstacles?? Despite an escalating attraction to Gavin, Savanna resolves to keep her distance. I really liked the suspense aspect of the story.
Gavin did what he could to help Savannah with the house as she was running from her recent past. She trusted her ex, who had a similarly tragic background, and is unwilling to repeat her past mistakes. Gavin and Savannah soon f With every book I read in this series, I become more involved in the characters. After Savanna's husband gets arrested, she decides to take refuge in Silver Spring. To view it, It may not be called cheating for the sake of technicality, however, this was one emotional doormat hero who was weakest of the weak who cheated on the both women.
Gavin Turner understands the struggle of starting over. Having lived through his own nightmarish past, he aims to help the single mom as much as he can without being intrusive. Savanna has no friends and makes no friends during this story unless you count Gavin, which I don't because she is screwing him. Her characters are strong and have overcome obstacles caused by others and come out all the better, mostly because of the love and care of Aiyana Turner and her school for boys in trouble. The one he knew that was in love with him and felt more strongly for him than he did for her, but he kept trying because it felt comfortable with her until it inevitably didn't and breaking her heart over and over. I know, I've said that about others too, but this one just grabbed me from the first paragraph and didn't let go.
There is no solution that will make him happy, since he couldn't seem to stop himself from sleeping with a woman he didn't love, all while not wearing a condom. Heather was a scheming woman, not thinking anything of rigging the 'game' to get the man she really wanted. With her divorce settled, she takes her two children home to Silver Springs to seek refuge between the walls of the farmhouse where she was born. Savanna's hopefully soon-to-be-ex husband, is in jail for raping three women. Why would you ever be willing to jump into such a mess? These two have huge mountains to climb, not only in their personal lives but, in their newly developing relationship with each other. She needs to reinvent her life in a new town, so she heads to Silver Springs to a family home where she and her two children can start fresh.
Despite an escalating attraction to Gavin, Savanna resolves to keep her distance. I don't like to call people names, but how much less smart could you get? Savanna's hopefully soon-to-be-ex husband, is in jail for raping three women. Savanna is caught between believing her husband Right Where We Belong is a suspense contemporary romance by a master of romance writing, Brenda Novak. Still, as a romance, this is fantastic. She was caught in a nightmare that there was no escaping from no matter how far away she went. The Ex knows this as she knows his past, she is so manipulative.
Neither of them are looking for a relationship. Gavin has his own struggles -- his abandonment as a child, an ex who still wants a claim on him, and his attraction to Savanna despite her conflicts. Brenda Novak is on a roll with her Silver Springs series. To a new beginning where no one knows what heinous things her husband has done. This book makes the reader aware of issues that might have never crossed their minds. He steps up when Savanna needs help fixing things—even when those things go beyond the farmhouse. Detectives are still trying to find more than circumstantial evidence that will put him behind bars for a very long time.
It can be read as a stand alone. The chemistry between Savanna and Gavin is off the charts. Right Where We Belong then continues away from Utah, and unfolds mostly in Silver Springs. Detectives are still trying to find more than circumstantial evidence th I have read almost all of Brenda Novak's books, but I think this just may be my favorite one of all. All of these books are superb! We also se Savanna doing some detective work to keep her husband from coming out of jail.
I do exclude the h from the previous book because she was strong for a long time after the H reached out to her again. She can't believe that her husband and college sweetheart, Gordon, has been arrested for attacking and raping three women. With her divorce settled, she takes her two children home to Silver Springs to seek refuge between the walls of the farmhouse where she was born. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. Lovely addition to the series and look forward to the next title. I can't get enough of Brenda Novak's writing. She trusted her ex, who had a similarly tragic background, and is unwilling to repeat her past mistakes.
An attraction between them is unexpected. Eli, Cora and Alya from the prior Silver Springs books are fairly present in Right Where We Belong, and it was nice to see how they were doing. The attraction is instant and due to everything going on, they try to fight it as it grows. I know, I've said that about others too, but this one just grabbed me from the first paragraph and didn't let go. Author tried to present the hero as honourable and dutiful. And the in Right Where We Belong by Brenda Novak Fourth in the Silver Springs contemporary romance series. Can be read as a stand alone.
